As parents of children with Type One Diabetes, Catie and Katie have found themselves tirelessly advocating for their children to be included in their community. From struggling to find appropriate child care, inclusion in recreational programs, and even safe school practices. Catie and Katie realized they were not alone in their advocacy
As parents of children with Type One Diabetes, Catie and Katie have found themselves tirelessly advocating for their children to be included in their community. From struggling to find appropriate child care, inclusion in recreational programs, and even safe school practices. Catie and Katie realized they were not alone in their advocacy to have their children included, and discovered many more families that shared similar stories to theirs. Worth Every Shot Foundation was started to assure families do not have to advocate alone, but also to provide a support system for families and children with Type One Diabetes .
